This really concerns me, but how does someone outside the US, like me, do anything about it?

Not much you can really do about the bill here in the US but there is a similar bill (or law or whatever it may be called there) that is being presented in the UK so you should really check into that.

Yeah, I've passed on the info to everybody I know and written to my local member of parliament. Don't know what good it'lldo but I'll do anything to get this sort of shit stopped. If you check my journal there's a link on there to someone else's journal who had an interesting idea for protecting yourself from this. Don't know if it'd hold up in court or whatever but you never know...

Better Than Onions

I understand that this is a old version of the bill, however they are currently working on a new version that, from all accounts, is very similar to the old one.

We, as a community, need to be aware of this though and take a stand so that we don't get the short end of the stick. While this bill may not get passed, apathy or non-action will only allow something like this to be passed eventually.
